Early morning flitwick session with the crew…

Dragged the crew out of bed for an 8am session at Flitwick, for some of us this meant 6 o’clock to ferry the crew to the park. Josh couldn’t make it which was a shame but not to worry, Big Dads, Ginge, Mat, Tembo, Chef and Vassy were all on hand to shred. Fun time had by all, and that’s what counts….

An afternoon with Damian Todd…

This footage was the first days shooting for Damian’s Propaganda part. Unfortunately he was injured early into filming on the second session a week or so later. His road to recovery is a slow one, but hopefully he’ll be back this summer!!! This should give you a taste of how gnarly his part will be when he’s fully recovered and shredding hard!

This was filmed between 1:30pm and 8pm at Clissold Park and Meanwhile, with a brief stop for a snack & a t-shirt change. Hope you enjoy it!

Watch how the latest Discipline graphics are hand screened right her in Blighty. We want to keep control of everything we do with Discipline, keep learning, keep it fun and keep it non corporate! So after a bit of practice Mat and the team are getting it down. Footage was shot on Saturday by Big Dad’s whilst Mat screened some of the second batch of our #fuckscooters decks.

Big shout to Disciplines silent partner Mark Trade for putting together the edit last night.

London mission’s this weekend! Great times and we managed to film a couple of lines!!! Mat Instagrammed throughout the day, so we decided to compile the photos so you don’t have to trawl through his profile!!!!

Skateboard legend Larry Stevenson dies at 81…

“Larry Stevenson, the former California beach lifeguard whose entrepreneurial vision half a century ago helped create the modern skateboard industry, died Sunday in his room at the Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. He was 81.

Stevenson’s most significant contribution to skateboarding’s early years of equipment innovation was his design of the kicktail, an advancement of control and safety on par with that of the urethane wheel.

According to skate historian Dale Smith, the conceptual design and dimensions of today’s modern skate deck essentially mimic Stevenson’s patented drawings from the late 1960s. The controlled leverage generated by a skateboard’s kicktail has fueled an ongoing trick progression, from simple flatland turns to Torey Pudwill’s lipslide to bluntslide combination that helped him win the Tampa Pro on the same afternoon as Stevenson’s passing.”
