  • Back at Rickmansworth Festival in May…

    So after 12 months of saying no to gigs I’ve agreed to two in one weekend! Yes on May the 19th I’ll be back doing a slot at the Rickmansworth Festival and then at The Horns the following night. The Rickmansworth Festival holds a special place in my history as the crowd was excellent and really responsive last time i was there in 2010. I’d lost my voice by the end of the set but it held out until I’d finished!!!

  • Back to the drawing (well writing) board….

    It’s been a crazy twelve months or so, and I’ve been in hiding in regards to gigs. Yes I’ve crawled out from under my rock to record a radio show, do the odd interview, film some DVD extras, and a very small smattering of gigs, but mainly I’ve been getting a few things in order. Well I’m now back writing and will be hiding a lot less from March the 21st (national poetry day) onwards…promise.

  • Canadian Schools study, erm me…

    I get emails from time to time from teachers at various schools mainly around England that ask me questions about my work as they’ve used or are using it in class. I’ve even had a few schools from Australia and America contact me. It’s always very humbling and super cool to know that my work is getting out there. Recently Matt Frodsham and I were back working together on some DVD extras for a special disc just for Canada! So the students over there will be getting an extra dose of me….sorry dudes!

  • Performing in aid of OXFAM – OXJAM!!!

    I will be performing as part of OXFAMS month long festival at Indy Jacks in Hemel Hempstead on the 1st of October. If you don’t know what OXJAM is:

    “Oxjam is Oxfam’s month-long music festival. It runs all through October with hundreds of events around the UK, all organised by volunteers who know and love their local music scene, all raising money to save lives around the world.”
